The ministry stated that the closure starts from today until further notice and includes commercial sea ports and fishing ports in Lattakia, Tartous, Arwad and Baniyas.
The General Directorate of Meteorology had warned of strong winds that will continue from this evening until tomorrow morning in the coastal areas, the central region and Qalamoun.
The directorate stated that the winds will become stormy sometimes, and their gusts exceed 90 kilometers per hour.
