Former Real Madrid and Boca Juniors midfielder Fernando Gago took over Aldusevi of Argentina on Saturday.
Argentina’s Gago retired two months ago from playing professional football after a series of injuries and will take his first position as coach.
The 34-year-old Gago spent spells in his career in Rome, Valencia and Velez Sarsfield, and competed with Argentina in the 2014 World Cup, as well as appearing in three Copa America tournaments.
