Lebanese media reported that, today, Sunday, Israeli forces fired warning shots to intimidate farmers in the town of Mays al-Jabal, on the southern border.
The official “National Media Agency” in Lebanon reported that “the Israeli enemy fired shots in the air to terrorize a number of farmers from the town of Mays al-Jabal, while they were planting some seedlings on their liberated lands in the Krom al-Sharqi area in the town.”
In turn, “LBC” channel reported that the Israeli forces fired more than 15 bullets to intimidate farmers.
During the past months, the border area between Lebanon and Israel witnessed repeated incidents of shooting, while Israeli forces detained several times, farmers who said they had infiltrated from Lebanon’s lands.
