The King of Jordan, Abdullah II, inaugurated the Amman field hospital designated to receive people infected with Coronavirus in the capital, Amman.
The hospital was established within 30 days on the campus of Prince Hamzah Hospital, and contains 408 beds, including 84 intensive care beds.
The Jordanian King opened the hospital at a time when the number of deaths and people infected with the virus increased, as 23 deaths and 2,152 new cases of the virus were recorded today, according to the Ministry of Health.
This result brings the total number of injuries in the Kingdom to 274,949, and deaths to 3568 cases.
