The story of Croatian Luka Modric and Real Madrid is heading towards writing its final chapter at the end of the current football season, and it is expected that the player will leave for a new destination that will be his last stop before retiring from football.
During a career that spanned 12 years, Modric participated in the Real jersey in 503 matches in various local and continental competitions, winning all possible titles, scoring 37 goals and providing 78 assists.
Modric’s chances of participating have decreased significantly this season in Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, especially in light of the presence of young players in the midfield such as Englishman Jude Bellingham and Frenchman Aurelien Chouamini.
The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner appeared in 11 La Liga matches and 4 Champions League matches, playing 647 minutes, according to the Transfer Market website, which specializes in player and transfer news.

The Saudi League is Modric’s possible destination
The Sun newspaper reported that the Croatian is open to moving to the Saudi League, noting that the player’s agent has already received many offers from different Saudi clubs and may move to one of them if the offer is “suitable.”
Last season, news linked the name of the 38-year-old Croatian to Al-Ittihad Club, and if he decides to move to the club, he will team up with his friend, French star Karim Benzema.
The Saudi clubs attracted many stars in the summer Mercato, most notably the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Al-Nasr team, the Brazilian Neymar and the Senegalese Khaledou Coulibaly, Al-Hilal players, the Frenchman N’Golo Kante, the Al-Ittihad midfielder, and the Algerian Riyad Mahrez, Al-Ahly’s winger.
