Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi Ministry of Commerce announced that it has provided a service to grant special discounts in Saudi stores to customers who have received the Corona vaccine.
On Monday, the Saudi Press Agency said that the ministry has allowed electronic stores, markets, malls, and shops for goods and services to grant discounts with the aim of encouraging members of society to take the vaccine.
The agency’s statement said that the trade facilitated all stores in the Kingdom to grant discounts without the need to obtain licenses for discounts, and “without deducting any balance from the annual reductions authorized for the facility or store, and the service does not require the service provider to pay any financial fees.”
The Saudi Ministry of Health had launched a number of national campaigns, in which many sectors participated, aimed at educating citizens and residents about the importance of receiving the Corona vaccine to limit the spread of the virus.
More than a million people have received the Corona vaccine in Saudi Arabia so far, according to the official spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Health, Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, at the end of last week.
