The dispute between Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez and Neymar, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, continued after the Spanish defender described his Brazilian counterpart as “trash” on Twitter in response to the latter’s provocation.
Neymar posted a picture on his personal account on “Twitter” after his team’s victory over Marseille 2-1 in the French Super Cup, addressed to Alvaro’s comment, in which he said, “King Alvaro is he not?”
This sentence was used in a popular video and was ridiculed and spread during a period on the “TikTok” platform.
To respond to the Marseille defender, saying: “My parents always taught me not to respond to the garbage, Marseille forever.”
Neymar continues his mockery: “I forgot how the titles are raised.”
Alvaro responded with a picture of Pele holding 3 World Cups, along with a message: “You will be forever in the shadow of King Pele.”
But Neymar continued to provoke the Marseille defender, and he replied: “And you will always be in my shadow. I made you famous, you are welcome, O phenomenon.”
The conflict between Neymar and Gonzalez goes back to after a match in the French League last September, which witnessed a great quarrel that resulted in the expulsion of five players from the two teams.
The Brazilian star accused the Spanish defender of racism, but the French League said there was “insufficient convincing evidence” to accuse the defender or support the claim.
The Disciplinary Committee of the French Federation imposed various penalties on the players at the time after the riots.
