Change of scene for Tremont Waters. After two seasons in Boston, the guard 23-year-old has signed an unsecured contract with the Milwaukee Bucks to do field training with them; informs Shams Charania of The Athletic.
This LSU-trained boy will thus have the possibility of fighting for a hole in the squad that will start the regular season, since the Wisconsin franchise currently has 13 guaranteed contracts (it can reach 15) and also has a two-way contract not assigned.
Picked 51st in the 2019 draft, Waters has spent his first two seasons between the Celtics and their G League affiliate team, the Maine Celtics. In 37 games played in the NBA, he averaged 3.8 points and 2.1 assists in 9.6 minutes per night.
