Italian football club Milan said today, Sunday, that its Turkish players Hakan Chalhanoglu and Frenchman Theo Hernandez have been infected with the rapidly spreading Corona virus.
These two players played a prominent role in Milan at the top of the Italian league, three points ahead of the closest pursuers, but they will not participate in its match on Monday at Cagliari.

Milan said in a statement: “Milan announces that Hakan Chalhanoglu and Tio Hernandez were infected with the Corona virus, after all members of the team were tested yesterday. While the rest of the results were negative.”
The statement added, “Accordingly, the club informed the health authorities. The two players are subject to quarantine and did not show any symptoms.”
The statement also affirmed that “according to the applicable local procedures,” the health status of the remaining team players will be monitored on an ongoing basis.
