The Government of Ukraine approved the draft law on the country’s withdrawal from the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Legal Protection and Protection of Intellectual Property signed between Kiev and the capitals of the CIS countries.
“The bill proposes to withdraw from the agreement signed on November 19, 2010 in Petersburg, which was ratified by the Ukrainian parliament on December 21, 2011,” said the representative of the Ukrainian government in Parliament Vasily – according to Russia Today news channel.
He pointed out that the Ukrainian side does not participate in drafting international treaties within the Commonwealth of Independent States, nor does it exchange patents, regulatory and methodological documents in the field of protection and intellectual property for a long time.
