Utopia celebrates World Heart Day at the Koba Palace

On the occasion of World Heart Day, corresponding to September 29 of each year, the Egyptian Heart Association and Utopia Company celebrated this day by raising awareness of heart diseases and the importance of following a healthy lifestyle to preserve the heart, at Al-Qubba Palace, and in the presence of more than 150 cardiologists from all governorates of Egypt .

Utopia had organized a celebration this year 2021, and for the fourth year in a row, in its belief in its role in serving the Egyptian community, and its keenness to educate the community about the seriousness of heart disease, and the importance of awareness of heart disease, which is the main cause of death all over the world.

Utopia said that the celebration was attended by a large number of senior cardiologists in Egypt, led by Dr. Mohsen Ibrahim, Professor of Cardiology at Cairo University, President of the Egyptian Society of Hypertension, and Dr. Adel El-Etreby, Professor of Cardiology at Ain Shams University and former President of the Egyptian Heart Association. And Dr. Amr Al-Hadidi, Professor of Cardiology at Kasr Al-Ainy Medicine, Dr. Ahmed Magdy, Consultant Cardiologist at the National Heart Institute, Dr. Nasser Taha, former head of the Cardiology Department at Minya University, and Dr. Mansour Mustafa, Head of the Cardiology Department at Al-Azhar University, and Major General Doctor Yasser El-Sayed, President of the Military Medical Academy, attended the celebration. And Dr. Enas Shaltout, Professor of Internal Medicine and Diabetes at Cairo University.

Dr. Jamila Nasr, Head of the Cardiology Department at Suez Canal University and Secretary General of the Egyptian Heart Association, delivered the speech of the Egyptian Heart Association during the celebration, where she reviewed the Association’s achievements at the local and global levels by presenting research published in international journals on the latest methods of treating heart diseases, and its role in raising awareness of the most important Ways to prevent heart disease.
