(Trends Wide) — At least a dozen people, including young children, have been taken to local hospitals after a vehicle crashed into a daycare center in Anderson, California, on Thursday, hospital officials say.
Video from Trends Wide affiliate KRCR shows a small blue pickup truck completely inside the building, leaving a gaping hole in the brick facade.
Nine people, all children, were taken to Mercy Medical Center in Redding and all are listed in stable condition, according to hospital spokeswoman Allison Hendrickson. Their ages were not immediately available.
Three other people were taken to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff. Hendrickson, who handles media relations for both hospitals, had no information on the ages or conditions of those patients.
