A spokesperson for Air New Zealand told Insider: “All aircraft are currently being inspected by engineers ahead of staying returned to support. These [situations] are not uncommon and our pilots educate for these scenarios.”
Passengers were put on afterwards flights, the spokesperson extra.
Carter did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Insider.
