‘Are you pranking us?’ Baffled Coles shopper finds an entire crate of WOOLIES juice on the shelves – but there could be a simple explanation
- Shopper left stunned as Woolworths Multivitamin juice spotted at a Coles store
- Woolies product spotted at Coles Whyalla store in South Australia on Saturday
- Coles said they are following up ‘with our supplier and distribution centre’
- Some shoppers it could be because products are made in the same warehouse
A Coles customer was left stunned after discovering an entire shelf of Woolworths-branded juice during a trip to her local store.
Port Lincoln woman Luci Anne found boxes of Woolworths Multivitamin Juice on Saturday evening while shopping at the Coles Whyalla store in South Australia.
‘I am in Coles and there is Woolworths juice next to the Coles juice’, she said while pointing to the rows of bottles.
The baffled shopper said Coles staff were convinced they were being pranked and ‘had a laugh’ about the bizarre incident.

‘Are you pranking us?’ one staff member asked her.
‘I told them there was a whole box on the shelf he went to get it off and I got my bottle of juice for free,’ she told news.com.au.
She attempted to scan the $2 juice at the Cole’s self-checkout but the product processed as ‘item not found.’
Coles confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that they are investigating the incident.
‘All cartons are scanned at different points throughout our supply chain and we’ll be following this up with our supplier and Distribution Centre today to find out how this product ended up on our shelves,’ a spokesperson said.
Woolworths declined to comment.
The video posted to TikTok has amused Australian customers, with many questioning how the items became misplaced.

‘Aldi, Coles and Woolies all use similar products. I worked in a food factory and legit it’s the same product, different label to a different store’, one commented.
‘That mean’s they’re made by the same company,’ another wrote.
A Coles employee couldn’t understand how the mix-up happened.
‘The item wouldn’t even scan at checkouts,’ she said.
The juice mix-up comes as Woolworths-branded cocktail frankfurts appeared in the fridge aisle of an Aldi store in Queensland in late March.
