Bombing in Shabwa
On the other hand, the government news agency said that at least 4 civilians were killed and 6 others were wounded on Sunday in a missile shelling carried out by the Houthi group that targeted a popular market in the Asilan district, northwest of Shabwa governorate.
The bombing came a day after the forces of the Giants Brigades, loyal to the coalition, announced that they had regained control of the Usaylan district from the Houthi group, which had taken control of the area last September.
ودعا Shabwa Governor Awad al-Awlaki the international community to act Urgent “to stop the Houthi movement’s persistence and its perpetration of more crimes against civilians.”
Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdul-Malik said on Sunday that the Houthis had squandered the opportunity for peace, stressing that the movements of the Giants Brigades in Shabwa would turn the scales of the battle.
