The Chinese probe Chang’e-5 startedChang’e 5(The process of returning to Earth, carrying samples of about two kilograms of lunar rocks obtained during his flight, according to the China National Space Administration)ANEC).
In a statement published on its website, the administration stated that “the orbit unit and the return unit succeeded in entering orbit to move from the moon to the earth.”
This was achieved because, the orbit unit and the return unit carried out the second transition maneuver between the moon and the Earth, and four (150N) engines began operating at a distance of about 230 km from the moon for about 22 minutes.
The ChangE-5 was launched on November 24 by a Long March-5 missile, which has already successfully carried the first Chinese mission to Mars, the Tian Win-1 (Tianwen-1), On July 23, and is expected to arrive on the red planet next May.
It is noteworthy that the ultimate goal of the Chinese program is to send a manned mission to the moon, although no date has been set for this, but some experts expect this to happen in 2036.
