The Brazilian Ministry of Health said on Sunday that it had recorded 29,792 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and 469 deaths during the past 24 hours.
The ministry data indicates that the total number of infections in the country exceeded 8.1 million, while the total deaths reached 203,100 since the outbreak of the epidemic.
