Today, Monday, Russia recorded 23,315 new cases of the Coronavirus, including 4,646 cases in the capital, Moscow, bringing the total number of infections in the country to three million 425,269 cases, in the fourth highest death toll in the world since the start of the pandemic.
The authorities also confirmed that 436 deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total official deaths to 62,273.
The director of the Russian Gamali Epidemiology Center, Alexander Ginsburg, had announced that more than a million Russian citizens had received the (Sputnik-V) vaccine against the emerging corona virus (Covid-19).
“After receiving the vaccine, there have been no unwanted side effects on the Russian citizens, who were vaccinated,” Gentsburg said.
