The child’s father, who was buried yesterday afternoon in the Sulaibikhat cemetery, said that necessity is the reason for his loss, adding in his interview to the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Rai: “Ali often saw me in pain when he and his brothers asked to buy toys, clothes, a phone or an iPad. Regarding the reasons for the suicide, Al-Shammari said: “The day before his suicide, he asked me for 12 dinars (40 dollars) to bring a PlayStation from the repair shop. He has been in detention for weeks and I do not have the money to receive it, and I told him that I will give it when I have it.”
