An Australian woman has revealed her Aldi trolley hack, and promises it will change how you shop forever.

The woman created a drink and smartphone holder using a paint bucket from the coveted Special Buys range and clipped it onto the handle of the trolley.

The mum was becoming frustrated ‘trying to drive’ the trolley and hold her soft drink at the same time.

She claimed her daughter, who came up with the hack, is a genius and others agreed she could be ‘the future leader of Australia’.

The 600mL paint pot has two compartments, making it easy to slip over the side of the trolley, and it is big enough to ‘fit the essentials’ in while you’re doing shopping.

Not only did the clever trick hold the woman’s drink, but there was also ‘a slot for her phone’.

Other shoppers were suitably impressed.

‘We are not worthy,’ one wrote. While another said the hack was ‘gold’.

‘I am buying one ASAP,’ another woman said.

‘This is what I need, I always spill my drink,’ another woman said.

And, although the woman bought the painting staple for her husband she is thinking of using it for future trips to the store.

‘He’s not getting it now, I am keeping it,’ she said.

Others joked that there would be a rush on the painting aides and Aldi would be wondering ‘why all these mums are taking up painting’.

The paint pots were on sale for $4.99 as part of the bi-weekly Special Buys sale in February.
