Austria records 1,408 new infections and 38 deaths from the Coronavirus

The ministry stated – in a statement today, Sunday – that the total number of HIV infections in Austria reached 351,892 cases, of which 323 thousand recovered and two cases, while 5,881 people died, noting that 2,457 cases are receiving treatment in hospitals, of which 414 are in intensive care units.

She explained that most of the new injuries were recorded in Carinthia, amounting to 282, Lower Austria 247, Vienna 226, Upper Austria 205 cases, 147 cases in Salzburg, 124 in Tirol, 111 in Styria, 39 in Vorarlberg, and 27 in Burgenland.
