The Mexican stock exchange (BMV) operates with a strong loss this Monday morning. The local stock market lost more than 1% for the third consecutive day, dragged down by fear in the markets of the weak growth of the global economy.
The index reference S&P/BMV IPC, made up of the 35 most traded shares in the country, moved -1.46% to 48,817.24 points. The index FTSE BIVAfrom Institutional Stock Market (Biva), falls -1.44% and stands at a level of -1,013.38 units.

Within the reference index, most of the components operate in negative territory, with 26 values in red and nine in green. The losses are led by Grupo México, with -4.03%, the airline Volaris, with -3.43%, and Megacable, with -2.80% percent.
In three consecutive days with losses, from 51,432.63 points, the S&P/BMV IPC lost 5.08 percent. Against the maximum of the year, of 57,064.16 units (its maximum historical level), the leading index has an accumulated loss of 14.45 percent.
