The Brazilian Ministry of Health said it recorded 25,445 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday, but warned that the announced figures do not include data from the state of Sao Paulo due to technical problems.
The ministry also recorded 408 deaths from Covid-19 disease, which is caused by infection with the virus.
