A Bunnings worker has been recorded using the store’s loudspeaker system to help young singles find love while they shop for hardware.
Footage shared to social media app TikTok showed a worker walking towards a young woman in a Brisbane store while making an announcement.
‘There is a beautiful customer in aisle 20, so if there are any single guys out there, come to aisle 20,’ the man said.
‘You could be starting a whole new romance here in Bunnings.’
The woman quickly turned the camera to face her to show her mix of shock and laughter.

She then told him her male friend was also single, and so the worker tried to attract potential suitors for him as well.
Social media users were left in stitches at the man’s antics.
‘Bunnings is the new Tinder,’ one person said.
Another said: ‘They’re selling everything at Bunnings.’
A third said: ‘What a legend! I hope this goes viral – I love it.’
Others recounted tales of people they know meeting and falling in love at Bunnings – including one person’s cousin, who got married as a result.
The footage comes soon after one woman revealed she is trying to find love at the store – but without assistance from the helpful staffer.
Leesh Cunningham, 26, who lives on the Central Coast of New South Wales, shared a two-part video to the social media platform as she tried to find a husband at the hardware giant.
The woman who took the footage told the staffer her male friend was also single, so the worker tried to attract potential suitors for him as well
In the hilarious clips she is seen wandering through each aisle and even asking a Bunnings employee if they have any men left in stock.
Despite having no luck finding a partner, Ms Cunningham – who works as a branch manager for a car rental company – was flooded with Instagram messages from some very interested fans.
‘My DMs (direct messages on Instagram) have absolutely been blowing up,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.
‘The ones that have all the confidence are like 50-year-old men, though, so still no real prospect there but you never know.’

During Ms Cunningham’s TikToks, she filmed herself checking out each aisle in the department store in the hopes she’d find love.
When that didn’t work, she turned to a shop assistant for help.
‘I’m just looking for a husband and was told you guys had them here,’ she tells a staff member.
‘They’re flying off the shelf, if we have any they’ll be in the back corner on the left,’ the employee replied.
