Behind the sponsorships of China are Qatari companies that paid 134 million dollars, according to data from Global Data.
Those from the United States are the participants that remain in third place. They paid 128.5 million dollars for the rights. The rest of the companies, divided into various countries around the world, paid 184.5 million dollars in advertising.
Four Chinese companies are on this year’s list of sponsors, making it the third country, in number of companies, among FIFA sponsors for the World Cup. Only two of them are listed on the stock market.
Among the Chinese sponsors are Hisense, a technology company that offers screens, telephones, among other things and that has participated with FIFA since Russia 2018. It is worth approximately 2.550 million dollars on the stock market.
Mengiu, companies specialized in the manufacture and production of dairy products, is the other Chinese company that participates in the fair. It is worth 15.610 million dollars in the stock market.
