The National Health Commission in China said today, Wednesday, that the Chinese mainland recorded 15 new cases of coronavirus yesterday, the same number as the previous day, and the commission said in a statement that 14 of the new cases came from abroad and that one case was in Liaoning Province.
The commission stated that it had detected 14 asymptomatic cases, down from 17 similar injuries the previous day. China does not consider such infections to be confirmed.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in China comes to 86,882, while the number of deaths remains unchanged at 4,634.
