Contracts between García Luna companies and past governments are disclosed

The Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) reported that, in the six-year terms of Felipe Calderón and Enrique Peña Nieto, federal government entities awarded 29 contracts to companies related to the former Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Genaro García Luna, for an amount greater than 700 million dollars.

Pablo Gómez, head of the FIU, commented at the morning press conference that none of these contracts had been submitted to a tender “and almost all of them were contracted with foreign companies,” although they were part of a corruption scheme led by García Luna. .

He stated that, between 2006 and 2012, the company Nice Systems Ltd had three contracts and NUNVAC Inc was given two contracts by the Federal Police – he denounced that Luis Cardenas Palomino intervened in one of the two when he was head of the Security Division Regional – and the total amount of these was 83 million 600,000 dollars.

On the other hand, in the same period of time, NUNVAC Inc had five more contracts, but this time from the Administrative Body for Prevention and Social Readaptation, under the commissioner Eduardo Enrique Gómez García, and whose amount amounted to 233 million 75,995 dollars. .

The total amount that these 10 contracts had, during the government of Calderon Hinojosa, was 316 million 675,995 dollars.

For its part, in the period 2012-2018, 19 contracts were signed for a total of 410 million 101,358.51 dollars and 363 million 866,666.60 pesos.

In this period of time, NUNVAC Inc was awarded nine contracts by the Center for Investigation and National Security (Cisen), eight when the general director Eugenio Ímaz Gispert was in charge, for an amount of 44 million 219,327.26 dollars and 15 million of pesos. The other was granted in the administration of the general director Alberto Baz Baz Sacal, for an amount of 52 million 200,000 pesos.

In addition, Pablo Gómez explained that this company received another five contracts from the agency in charge of prisons. Four with a total value of 157 million 50,000 dollars and the rest for 270 million pesos.

On the other hand, he realized that NUNVAC Technologies Inca company different from the one mentioned above but with the same owners and the same staff, received a contract of 208 million 832,031.25 dollars, by Cisen.

The head of the FIU said that, in the field of Public Administration, three more contracts were made, although the exact amount of them was not reported.
