(CNN) — The BTS group announced that it will have a short four-night residency with four concerts at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The “Permission to Dance on Stage” concert series will take place in Las Vegas on April 8, 9, 15 and 16 and will be broadcast live via livestream at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The livestream will also be available worldwide on the last night of the concerts.
“The LIVE PLAY is a paid face-to-face event where ARMY can watch the concert in real time on a big screen to share the feeling of the concert live,” explains a statement posted on the group’s Instagram.
Kim Taehyung, known in the group as V, announced on his social media last week that he had tested positive for COVID-19, saying, “Thank you for caring about me, I fully recovered thanks to you.” The singer has already ended the quarantine.
Other members of the band, RM, Suga, and Jimin, tested positive for covid-19 last year and in January, and have since recovered.
The group heads to the South Korean leg of their tour next month. They will perform at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium on March 10, 12 and 13. These concerts will also be broadcast live.
The concerts will be the group’s first in-person shows in South Korea since October 2019.
