Much-loved AFL star Majak Daw’s girlfriend of two years Emily McKay had shared a loving tribute to the footy star just weeks before their sudden split.
The relationship appeared to be rosy just weeks earlier after his girlfriend Emily McKay posted a heartfelt tribute to the recently delisted North Melbourne Kangaroos defender and their one-year old son Hendrix on Instagram.
The touching video montage included footage of Daw playing with the youngster and opened with a still image of the young family together with their newborn son.
But Daw has since deleted every picture of the glamorous blonde on his social media accounts – which were until recently awash with loved-up snaps of the pair.
Ms McKay has all but erased the 29-year-old from her own account.
The pair have ‘unfollowed’ each other on the social media platform.

The sudden and shock split comes after Daw made a stunning comeback to footy earlier this year after he nearly died in a fall from Melbourne’s Bolte Bridge in December 2018.
Their break-up – which followed him making his inspirational on-field return in the AFL preseason this year – was reported in the Herald Sun on Friday evening.
The couple said they plan to make their baby son their main priority following a whirlwind year for the Sudanese-born footballer.
Daw put the grim reality of his mental demons behind after he plummeted from the top of Melbourne’s Bolte Bridge and into the frigid waters below.
The fall shattered Daw’s hips and pelvis – with the chances of him ever returning to AFL seeming beyond remote.
But despite the odds, the charismatic athlete fought his way back to the field.
‘Every nurse, doctor and surgeon we met along the way. Words can’t describe how grateful we are and how amazing you are,’ Ms McKay wrote in a heartfelt message to Instagram in August.

Daw was de-listed at the end of the 2020 season, but he said he’s determined to do whatever it takes to find a new club.
On the night he fell from the bridge, Daw reportedly had a fight with Ms McKay, and had taken a sleeping pill – Stillnox – notorious for mental side effects.
Daw’s car was also found abandoned close to the river.
A surgeon placed a 15-centimetre metal rod in each hip so the athlete could return to the field.
Daw said in a statement after the incident: ‘To all our beloved fans and members, I just wanted to thank everyone for their love and support over the past month.
‘My attitude and outlook towards everything has improved. I hope to be back out there playing in the blue and white stripes soon.

‘Thank you all for respecting my need for privacy and for giving me the chance to get better going forward.’
Daw who became a father to son Hendrix back in August 2019 said he felt a responsibility to show others who are struggling with mental health – particularly through the lockdown – that there is a way through their despair.

‘I wanted to be able to help give them hope, that they can do things that never thought possible, or going back to living the life they have always enjoyed,’ Daw said.
‘Life is pretty hard, there are a lot of things that get in the way. There are a lot of people struggling, but you have to have the belief its going to turn.
‘The incentive is that I can help people, people I don’t know. There have been so many people show have shared their battle with mental health, and for me that is a pretty big responsibility, and I want to do it right.’
Daw was on the cusp of selection for Round 1 this year but was forced out by illness, and the competition was then suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
He then ruptured his pectoral muscle in the gym in May, which further delayed his return.
The breakdown of the couple’s relationship comes as Ms McKay launched a new tanning product this month through her successful business venture – Spray Aus.
She has an ownership stake in the company with Ellie Pearson, Nadia Bartel and Bec Judd who have featured heavily in advertisements for the brand.
