Lowland and Henderson Opportunities Trust manager James Henderson gives us his tips for picking exciting smaller companies in the latest episode of the Investing Show.

James is one of Britain’s leading investment trust managers and has been in charge at Lowland for 26 years – one of the top ten performing UK equity income trusts of the past decade.

He explains how to look for dividend shares that can deliver for years to come.

But he also manages Henderson Opportunities Trust – which invests in smaller companies and looks for growth and value opportunities – including university spin-outs, top quality engineering firms and other high-tech specialists.

He joins Simon Lambert, editor of This is Money, in the studio, along with Richard Hunter, head of equities at Hargreaves Lansdown, and Nick Batsford, CEO of TipTV.

Also on the agenda is the question of when interest rates will rise – and quite what this means for investors.

Meanwhile, Richard Hunter takes viewers through the all important things to watch out for as companies report results this summer – and what could help shares move ahead.

This is Money has teamed up with TipTV to produce the Investing Show series, with investing news and debate and ideas to help you make more of your money. Watch the latest episode in two parts below.
