The Iranian Ministry of Health announced that 6 thousand 151 new infections and 191 deaths had been recorded from the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said – in her press statement, according to the Iranian (IRNA) news agency today, Monday -: “The total number of people infected with the virus in the country has risen to one million and 164 thousand and 535 people, and the number of critical cases is 5 thousand and 519 cases.“.
She added: “The number of people recovering from HIV has reached 894,366 people so far, while the total number of people who have died from HIV infection has risen to 53,816 people.“.
It is reported that Iran tops the list of countries most affected by the Corona virus in the Middle East region.
