Iran’s Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif, said that renegotiating the nuclear agreement is out of the question, according to Al-Arabiya satellite channel, in urgent news to it a short while ago.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned President-elect Joe Biden against returning to the nuclear agreement with Iran, noting that circumstances have radically changed in the Middle East since the conclusion of this deal in 2015, and Pompeo said – in a statement carried by the American “Al-Hurra” channel today, Saturday – Concerned about the candidates to assume key positions in the future Biden administration, denouncing the policies of former President Barack Obama’s administration towards Tehran.
“Regardless of who will lead the US government in 2021, he will realize that the Middle East in 2021 is no longer what it was in 2015, and satisfying the Iranian regime will only result in the emergence of risks to the American people,” he said.
