A man and woman have suffered serious injuries following a suspected axe attack in Sydney.
Emergency crews attended an address in Glenfield in the city’s south-west on Saturday following the incident.
Video footage shows paramedics treating two people at the scene.
One person suffered a gash to their leg along with a head injury and the other has serious hand injuries.

‘NSW Ambulance officers were called around 5.30pm with reports of people being attacked’ a spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
‘We treated two people at the scene a man and a woman understood to be in her forties.’
‘One patient suffered a deep laceration to their leg as well as head injury and the other patient had quite a bad hand injury’.
‘There were reports of an axe and less reliable reports of a sword being used in the attack.’
‘The man and women were both rushed to Liverpool Hospital’.
