Startling CCTV has emerged of an injured man staggering down a busy street moments after he was allegedly stabbed in the thigh and foot in front of horrified bystanders.
Two men have been charged and faced court over the alleged incident in broad daylight in Sydney’s south-west.
Emergency services were called to a car workshop in Padstow shortly before 5.30pm on Sunday following reports a man had allegedly been stabbed during an altercation with two other men.
CCTV vision obtained by Seven News shows the alleged attackers fleeing the scene on foot before the injured man is seen hobbling down the street clutching at his wounded leg, leaving a trail of blood behind him.

The man, 34, was rushed to Liverpool Hospital to undergo surgery, where he remains in a serious condition.
Police established a crime scene and began inquiries, which led to the arrest of two men at a unit in nearby Lakemba eight hours later in the early hours of Monday morning.
Both men were charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and appeared in Burwood Local Court on Monday.
Muntathader Ajeel, 18, was granted bail while Abdul Fahar, 25, remains behind bars after making no application for bail.

Fahar didn’t appear in court after he was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
It’s understood he was on bail on a separate matter at the time of the alleged assault, Seven News reported.
Both men will reappear in court in May.
Police believe none of the men were known to each other.
