A man has been rushed to hospital after his mobile phone exploded in a Brisbane car park.
The 27-year old man is fighting for his life at the Brisbane Royal and Women’s hospital after suffering serious burns from the explosion and going into cardiac arrest.
The man was in a Lutwyche unit complex carpark at around 11am on Monday when his mobile phone exploded.

Ambulance arrived at the scene ten minutes after the blast and rushed the man to hospital.
Queensland Police believe the 27-year old was under the influence of alcohol and drugs and was pulling apart mobile phones when the explosion happened.
The Queensland Police told the Daily Mail that the man is still in hospital.
