A man who fell several metres from a cliff narrowly escaped certain death after being winched from the edge by emergency crews.
He is believed to have been rock climbing near The Gap at Torndirrup National Park in Perth on Sunday.
About 1.53pm, he lost his balance and fell several metres from the cliff at the popular tourist destination.

St John Ambulance was alerted to the incident of a man being ‘conscious and alert’ and dispatched a helicopter to rescue him.
Albany SES volunteers managed to pull him to safety.
Despite the fall, the man escaped serious injury but was taken to Albany Health Campus as a precaution.
