The leading index S&P/BMV IPC from Mexican stock exchange (BMV), made up of the 35 most traded shares in the domestic market, rises 0.63% to 48,771.10 points. The FTSE BIVAfrom the Institutional Stock Market (Biva), 0.74% to 1,019.67 units.

Within the benchmark, most components are operating in positive territory, with 25 stocks in the green and 10 in the red. The best performances are held by the titles of Asur, with 5.53%; GAP, with 2.30%, and the mining company Industrias Peñoles, with 2.21 percent.
