For the seventh consecutive month, the resources managed by the managers of the investment funds maintain a positive trend, this, in line with the economic recovery that the country has had this year and thanks to the reactivation that has been reflected in the different productive sectors.
At the end of November 2021, the investment fund sector registered a monthly growth of 1.13% and annual 7.67% in net assets, which represents 31,944 million pesos more than in October 2021, to stand at 2,818 billion pesos at the end of November, according to information from the Mexican Association of Stock Market Institutions (AMIB) .
It should be noted that the arrival of new variants of Covid-19 keeps the markets in cautious, hoping that a fourth wave of infections is not registered that forces social confinement again and activities stop.
The market is still dominated by BBVA, BlackRock and SAM, who accumulate 51.02% of the volume, according to data provided by the AMIB.
It is also the operator SAM the one with the highest number of investment funds, with 57, followed by Actinver and BBVA with 53 funds each. The operator with the least investment funds registered is BTG Actual with one and affirm with four.
Currently the system has a total of 611 investment funds, of which a higher percentage belongs to variable income.
