Shocking footage has emerged of two police officers’ brutal heavy-handed arrest of a mentally-ill teenage boy in Victoria.
Lochlan Nixon-May was arrested by police outside a home in Wodonga in the north of the state on Friday.
Disturbing vision of Nixon-May’s arrest has been revealed, showing a police officer bash him in the head with a capsicum spray canister.
The 19-year-old is subdued face down with the officer grabbing his arm, while another officer uses his foot to hold his head on the ground.

Nixon-May is seen screaming and writhing in pain in the footage, with blood splattered over his face.
The arrest has left Nixon-May’s family outraged with the officer’s use of force.
‘I just don’t see the need for the violence,’ Nixon-May’s brother Teak Morgan told 7News.
‘I understand the use of necessary force, but why does my brother need to be borderline comatose?’
Police allege Nixon-May was resisting arrest and tried to bite the officers during the ordeal.
‘Ah you motherf**ker,’ one of the officers can be heard saying in the footage.
‘Stop it now! Don’t bite him,’ the other says.

Mr Morgan said despite the claims, the officers’ actions were unacceptable.
‘Seriously get an inquiry into that situation because that’s just unnecessary violence on a kid who is already mentally ill,’ he said.
Nixon-May was involved in a street fight with two others at the location before police arrived, leaving him with a bloodied face.
A witness of the brawl said it left her ‘horrified’.
‘I’ve never seen anything more awful in my life and that was more so, before the police got there than after the police got there,’ they said.
Nixon-May was taken to hospital after his arrest for treatment to injuries incurred in the fight before police arrived.
Victoria Police have defended the officer’s response in subduing Nixon-May.
‘When police arrived the 19-year-old was lying on the ground with a bloodied face. Officers approached the man who became aggressive towards police,’ they said.
‘OC spray was deployed and members then wrestled with the man and attempted to handcuff him.
Teak Morgan (pictured) said the officer’s actions in arresting his brother were unacceptable
‘During this time he actively resisted police and continued to struggle, pinching members and attempting to bite them.
‘The man was hit with an OC can in an attempt to stop him biting officers and a member used his foot to control the man’s head during the final phase of the arrest to ensure that no officers were bitten or spat upon.’
Nixon-May and another man have both been charged after allegedly assaulting a man and taking him against his will on the day of Nixon-May’s arrest.
Investigators allege the pair assaulted a 20-year-old man at a property in Castle Creek Road before moving to another home on Wirilda Close where the assault continued before they dropped him to a local hospital.
Nixon-May was charged with aggravated home invasion, intentionally cause injury, recklessly cause injury, unlawful imprisonment, burglary, theft, theft of motor vehicle, possess drug of dependence and resist police.
He was released from hospital on Saturday morning and remains in police custody in NSW pending an extradition hearing.
A 23-year-old Wodonga man was also arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated home invasion, aggravated burglary, assault, unlawful imprisonment and drug possession.
He was remanded in custody to appear in Wodonga Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
