Rookie Jonathan Kuminga, the 7th pick in the 2021 Draft, played his first minutes as an NBA player after overcoming a knee injury. He made his debut with 06:04 minutes remaining and scored his first points with a triple with 02:04 minutes remaining.

Kuminga, 2.03 meters tall and a native of the Congo, chose to skip the university course to enlist in the Ignite Team of the G League along with the considered best high school player, Jalen Green, number 2 in the 2021 Draft by the Houston Rockets.
Last year he averaged 15.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and a steal in 32.8 minutes per night.
Curry leads the fifth win
Regarding the game against the Thunder, Stephen Curry, who led the Warriors’ offense with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 of 13 in triples in just 27 minutes.
Curry’s scoring in the last quarters had been something to talk about by staying “at zero” in the last three games. However, he didn’t have to do it last night and his coach sat him down during the final stretch.
“If there’s one thing that doesn’t bother me at all, it’s that Steph doesn’t score in the last quarters. That seems like the biggest fluke of all time, ”acknowledged Steve Kerr.
And while Curry rested on the bench, he enjoyed the work of his teammates who closed the game with a comfortable score of 82-103.
Draymond Green did a bit of everything with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists; while his teammates Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole contributed 14 points each. For his part, Otto Porter Jr. added 10 points from the bench.
For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 15 points and 5 rebounds; followed by Luguentz Dort and rookie Josh Giddey with 14 and 10 points respectively.
Just as the Warriors are at the top of the Western Conference thanks to their 5-1 start; the Thunder are second to last in the table with a negative 1-5.
