During his visit to Libya on Wednesday, Tunisian President Kais Saied called for work to find out the fate of Tunisian journalists, Sofiane Chourabi, and Nazir Al-Qattari, who have disappeared in Libya since 2014.
President Saeed said in the joint press conference with the head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Muhammad Al-Manfi, that among the issues that he raised during the discussions, the case of Nazir and Sufyan, and the continuous search for them.

He said, “The Public Prosecutor in Libya is the one who is in charge of the process, and every element or presumption can be useful in this area, I am sure that the brothers will use it to search for the truth.”
He added, “I appeal for further research in Libya. The Libyans will not hesitate to reach the truth that we all want to reach.”
The head of the Libyan National Unity Government, Abd al-Hamid al-Dabaiba, expressed the Libyan side’s readiness to do everything necessary to reach the truth regarding the file of the disappearance of journalists, Sufyan Chourabi and Nazir Al-Qattari.
The two journalists were detained in Cyrenaica, Libya, while they were on a media mission inside Libya in September 2014, before ISIS announced their execution in January 2015, while this information was not confirmed by official sources.
