Today, Sunday, Russia recorded 22,851 new cases of the Coronavirus, including 4,216 cases in the capital, Moscow, bringing the total number of infections in the country to three million and 40,1954 cases, the fourth highest death toll in the world since the start of the pandemic.
The authorities also confirmed that 456 deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the official death toll to 61,837 deaths.
The director of the Russian Gamali Epidemiology Center, Alexander Ginsburg, had announced that more than a million Russian citizens had received the (Sputnik-V) vaccine against the emerging corona virus (Covid-19).
“After receiving the vaccine, there have been no unwanted side effects on the Russian citizens, who were vaccinated,” Gentsburg said.
