Monterrey, NL. The governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, signed an agreement with the University Hospital to give free universal coverage against child cancer.
We are not going to allow any girl, boy and adolescent with this disease to be left without comprehensive medical care, we are going to show that in Nuevo León children’s health is the most important thing, ”said the state president.
He explained that in New Lion there is a list of more than 400 minors with Cancer that require a treatment of 4 vials that have a cost of 120,000 pesos per month, therefore, the local Congress authorized in the 2022 budget, an item for 230 million pesos, to offer children and adolescents universal coverage.

“That no Dad in Nuevo León has to spend a single peso, now you have to communicate, if you have a child with a tumor, go to the University (Hospital) to check it, it will not cost you, we have the best in the entity (specialists ) that child is going to get ahead, ”said García Sepúlveda.
He stressed that parents should take their children early, because there are cases in which they take them to very advanced stages of cancer, where treatment would have to be restarted from scratch.
