Vucic said – during the opening of a hospital for people with coronavirus in the city of Krusevac -: “I think there is a possibility for a joint production of the Russian vaccine“ Sputnik V ”in our country. This is possible in Serbia, “according to the” Russia Today “channel.
He added, “Sputnik V is undergoing study at the Serbian Medicines Agency. We have received some documents for the first and second stages, and we are waiting for the third stage documentation,” noting that he was informed that employees of the Medicines Agency are satisfied with the quality of the vaccine.
He continued: “We are planning to start vaccination as soon as possible, and we wish you in Russia to get rid of the Corona virus as soon as possible, as we do in Serbia.”
Vucic noted that the volume of the first batch of the Pfizer vaccine, intended for Serbia, was halved – from 10,000 to 5,000 doses.
