The Paraguayan Ministry of Health has confirmed the arrival of the first batch of the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine against the Coronavirus.
The ministry published pictures of the arrival of the shipment, indicating that the vaccine doses will be used to vaccinate medical personnel working on the “front line” to fight the Corona virus.
The ministry added that the vaccination campaign will start on February 22nd.
On February 4, Paraguayan Minister of Health, Julio Masolini, announced the Paraguayan government’s agreement with the Russian Direct Investment Fund to supply the “Sputnik V” vaccine.
