British Health Minister Matt Hancock said today, Sunday, that his country is vaccinating 200,000 people daily with the Coronavirus vaccine and is preparing to increase the number to two million people per week, which is the rate required to protect the most vulnerable groups by mid-February.
“At the moment, more than 200,000 people are being vaccinated every day,” the minister told Sky News.
“We have vaccinated about a third of the over 80s in this country, so we are making great progress, but there is still more expansion in this regard. We will open centers for mass vaccination this week,” he added.
