She also stressed “the availability of a stock of more than 350 thousand liters of medical oxygen,” and “raising the efficiency of the oxygen networks in hospitals,” noting that “any case that needs a ventilator and intensive care goes to the Ministry’s hospitals, even if they are not diagnosed.” .
Sources in the therapeutic medicine sector in the ministry warned that some citizens resort to buying or storing oxygen, and using it in treating critical cases with the Coronavirus, and they pointed out that “the use of oxygen in treatment without medical supervision is a great danger, and endangers the lives of patients.” By “going to hospitals when feeling symptoms of the Corona virus, and undergoing examination, examination, and waiting to obtain the appropriate treatment protocol for the case, as I warned against providing impure oxygen that causes damage to brain cells, which causes death.”
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Khaled Mujahid, confirmed that “hospitals are being supplied with oxygen continuously, and sufficient strategic stocks are provided to meet all the needs of the health sector, especially for patients with Coronavirus.”

He explained that “the number of oxygen tanks and cylinders has been increased in all hospitals, and the efficiency of all medical gas networks in hospitals has been raised, and regular maintenance has been made to prevent any malfunctions or leaks of medical gas devices that affect patients receiving medical service.”
