Mexican Deputy Minister of Health, Hugo Lopez Gatel, announced, on Saturday evening, that he had been infected with the Corona virus “Covid-19”.
Lopez Gatel said in a tweet on his Twitter account that he had mild symptoms that began on Friday, and that he was awaiting vaccination and plans to continue working from his home.

Lopez speaks regularly during press conferences about developments regarding Corona, including Mexico’s strategy on vaccines, and he was the one who oversaw President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s recovery from the virus, according to Bloomberg News.
