Ticketmaster denies overselling tickets for Bad Bunny at Estadio Azteca

On Friday, through social networks, various Bad Bunny fans with tickets in hand denounced that they were denied access to the Azteca Stadium, because their entrance had been “cloned”.

After the scandal that arose on social networks and various media, Profeco asked Ticketmaster to clarify what happened.

The ticket issuing company explained that the inconveniences on Friday, December 9, in accessing the Azteca Stadium were due to “the presentation of an unprecedented number of false tickets”, purchased outside its official points of sale, which led to a intermittent operation of its ticket reading system, leaving some customers with legitimate tickets unable to enter the venue.

In the statement on Monday, the company denied that there was an overselling of tickets and disclaimed having links to the resale of tickets, a practice that it “repudiates” and where false tickets are also offered, for which it urged the population to take precaution. .

He also announced that he will present a series of technological measures in order to avoid the sale of apocryphal tickets.

At the request of Profeco, Ticketmaster promised to reimburse the full cost of the ticket to consumers who have purchased legitimate tickets through official channels and who, according to the electronic record, have not been able to access the concert. He also reiterated his apologies to the attendees.
