The Ministry of Health in Mexico announced the registration of 12,057 new confirmed cases of the emerging coronavirus and 685 deaths, bringing the total official number of cases to one million and 241436, and deaths to 113,704 .
The government says the true number of infected people is likely much higher than the confirmed cases.
